Hey, take a peek at some of my latest storyboards. I drew them so it would be easier when it came to creating the keyframes later on. Doing storyboards on A4 is so much better then that tiny shitty box i was told to draw in. Tell me what you think.

Deaths Coffee (IDIOT VERSION)

Well i've been asked to go back and rethink my idea by my tutors. So since i had such a misrible time trying to create a dramatic epic with serious characters and story arcs and all that pretencious bullshit i've decided not to do that. As i'm obviously not very good at it. So instead i'm taking the concepts from my original idea and making them totally within my style. Big heads, googly eyes, giant. The story is now more tongue in cheek and a lot faster paced. No distorted sound or scenes that are to dark to pick up. No none of that. Hopefully this time it will be something good.

I now feel more educated after doing this animation and i'm now going to cast it into the fire and do what suits me best.

Almost done

Only two more backgrounds to go and a little bit of animation. Then i just have the hideous task of putting it all together. It was quite fun focusing on the atmosphere of an animation instead of the actualy aniamtion for once. Unlike my last project where i had very minamilist backgrounds and slightly more complex characters this time round i have done the opposite. Has it be fun? I would upload them now but i cant really be bothered.

After effects

I used after effects for more or less the first time. It actually helped my dull vector based backgrounds look less shit. After some little tinkering i used a few lighting and smokey effects to give the scene a little bit more depth. Take a peek at my little test.
